…חום השמש מאדה את מי האוקיאנוסים, הנהרות ושאר מקווי המים. אדי המים עולים מעלה לאטמוספרה ונעים בה. בהדרגה מתקררים האדים ומתעבים, עד אשר הם הופכים לטיפות מים, התחברות לעננים. העננים מורידים גשם, וכך המים חוזרים אל הקרקע בצורת משקעים: גשם, שלג, ברד וטל. רובם מתנקזים אל מקווי המים וחלקם מחלחלים באדמה – אל מי התהום…
מי תהום
מקורות המים הטבעיים העיקריים של מדינת ישראל הם מי התהום והם מהווים כשני שלישים מכמות המים בישראל.
מתחת לפני השטח מצויות שכבות שבהן יש מים ואוויר ומתחתן מצויות שכבות רוויות במים. האופק העליון של השכבה הרוויה במים נקרא מפלס מי התהום. מפלס זה יכול להיות ממש מתחת לפני הקרקע או בעומק של מאות מטרים.
מים עיליים – מי הגשמים ונחלים – מחלחלים מפני השטח אל תוך הקרקע עד שהם מגיעים אל שכבת סלע שאינה חדירה למים – אטימה, ועליה הם נאגרים.
השכבה הנושאת בתוכה את מי התהום נקראת – אקוויפר
אקוויפר (אקווה)=נושא מים=שכבה נקבובית המאפשרת מעבר מים דרכה. האקוויפר הוא שכבת סלע נקבובית תת-קרקעית, הנמצאת מעל שכבות סלע אטומות, שאינן מאפשרות חלחול מים דרכן. האקוויפר מהווה מאגר של מי תהום. המימי האקוויפר נשאבים ומנוצלים לצרכי האדם.
אקוויקלוד=שכבת סלע אטימה שאינה מאפשרת מעבר מים.
השכבות נושאות המים העיקריות בישראל הן סלעי הגיר והדולמיט, המצויים באזורים ההררים של ישראל, וסלעי החול המצויים בשפלת החוף. שכבות קרקע נושאות מים נוספות הן הגיר בגלבוע ובגליל, החלוקים והחצץ בנגב ובערבה, הבזלת בגליל ושכבות אבן החול הנובית בנגב.
בישראל מצויים שלושה אקוויפרים: אקוויפר החוף, אקוויפר ההר ואקוויפר חרמון.
אקוויפרים נוספים וקטנים יחסית, מצויים בגליל המערבי והמזרחי, בגולן, בעמקים בבקעת הירדן ובערבה.
המקורות העיקריים למי התהום בארץ נמצאים בשני מוקדים עיקריים: אקוויפר ההר ואקוויפר החוף.
אקוויפר החוף ואקוויפר ההר הם שני המוקדים העיקריים למי התהום.
אקוויפר ההר – הוא המאגר הגדול מבין קבוצת המאגרים. הוא משתרע מתחת לשדרת ההר המרכזית, מנחל תנינים בצפון ועד אזור באר שבע בדרום, ומדרום ההר במערב ועד קו גב ההר במזרח. איכות המים בו טובה מאוד, ולכן הוא משמש כמאגר למי שתייה.
אקוויפר ההר מורכב בעיקר מסלעי גיר ודולמיט סדוקים שבתוכם חללים רבים היכולים להכיל מים. משם הם מגיעים לאקוויקלוד המורכב משכבות סלעי חרסית וחוור האטימים למים.
בגלל מבנהו של אקוויפרי ההר תנועת המים בתוכם חופשית וכתוצאה מכך יכולת הסינון של סלעי האקוויפר מוגבלת. כאשר מופיע זיהום על פני האזור של האקוויפר, כגון אשפה או ביוב, הוא נשטף בגשם ומזהים את מי התהום. גם שאיבת יתר עלולה להנמיך את מפלס מי התהום ולגרום לחדירת מים מלוחים.
אקוויפר החוף – מורכב מחול, אבן חול וכורכר – כולם סלעים גרגריים בעלי נקבוביות המאפשרים הולכה טובה מאוד של המים. הוא מתמלא על ידי גשמים היורדים בכל מקום על פניו, והמים מחלחלים למטה בקלות.
האקוויפר ממוקם באזור המאוכלס ביותר בישראל – לאורך החוף, מקיסריה בצפון ועד לרצועת עזה בדרום. איכות המים שלו טובה לשתייה ולחקלאות.
מאז הקמת המדינה, בשל עלייה במספר התושבים והפיתוח הנמרץ באיזור הוגברה שאיבת המים והגיעה למימדים המסכנים את אפשרות אספקתם העתידית של המים.
זיהום מי התהום
פסולת היא תוצאה בלתי נמנעת של אורח חיינו המודרני. הפסולת היא מחירה של הקידמה, ועלינו להתמודד עם מחירה הכבד.
מי התהום פגיעים לזיהומים אשר מחלחלים לקרקע. זיהומם של האקוויפרים מביא לידי ירידה באיכות המים.
בשני האקוויפרים ניכר זיהום מי התהום וירידה באיכות המים. באקוויפר החוף הנמצא באיזור שמעליו יישובים רבים, מפעלי תעשייה וחרושת, שטחים חקלאיים ותחנות כוח - הזיהום וירידת איכות המים גדולים יותר.
זיהום של אקוויפרים נובעים ממספר גורמים – טבעיים שאינם ניתנים לשליטה, ומגורמים מלאכותיים המושפעים מפעילות אנושית.
התחזית לחורף הבאה גם היא אינה מעודדת במיוחד:
כתוצאה מפעילות חקלאית, תעשייתית, אזרחית וצבאית, חלה ירידה מתמשכת באיכות מי התהום.מספר סוגים עיקריים של זיהום מחלחלים – הן אל המים העיליים והן אל מי התהום:
מתכות כבדות וחומרים כימיים רעילים שמקורם בעיקר בשפכים תעשייתיים ובמזבלות פסולת מוצקה.
דשנים, חומרי הדברה והפרשות בעלי חיים, בעיקר בחקלאות.
חומרים אורגניים גורמי מחלות, כמו חיידקים שמקורם בביוב ובשפכים.
דליפות דלק.
“נלבישך שלמת בטון ומלט”
השמיים ממטירים על הארץ גשמים – לעתים בנדיבות, לעתים בקמצנות. אך האם כל הגשם הזה מגיע אל מי התהום?
זה כמה עשורים שבארץ תנופת הבנייה הולכת וגוברת. כיסוי שטחים נרחבים בבטון ובאספלט מונעים מהמשקעים לחדור למי התהום.
כתוצאה מכך קטנים שטחי פני הקרקע המסוגלים לספוג גשמים. ובמקום לחלחל אל מי התהום, זורמים המים על פני הרחובות ונשטפים אל הים. מאגרי המים אינם מתחדשים בכמות הדרושה, ורמת המליחות במים עולה.
שאיבת יתר והמלחת מי התהום
כבר בימי קדם הבחינו האנשים ששאיבה מבאר במקום אחד גורמת לירידת מפלס המים בבאר סמוכה. הדבר קורה כאשר שתי הבאות ניזונות מאותו אקוויפר.
מי התהום מתמלאים במים מתוקים שמקורם במי גשמים. אם שואבים מהבארות מים מתוקים בקצב העולה על קצב המילוי הטבעי שלהם ומפלס מי התהום יורד, זוהי “שאיבת יתר”.
במצב של “שאיבת יתר”, בנוסף על הפרת המאזן בין ההיצע והביקוש, עולים מים מלוחים מתחתית שכבת האקוויפר, מתערבבים במים המתוקים וגורמים להמלחתם של בארות וקידוחי המים.
באזור החוף למשל – נגרמת המלחה של מי התהום גם בשל הקירבה אל הים. מי התהום הנמצאים מתחת למי הים, חודרים אל היבשה. מי התהום המתוקים, הקלים יותר, צפים ודוחקים את המים המלוחים כלפי מטה. אך כאשר שואבים בקצב מהיר מדי את המים המתוקים, קטן הלחץ שלהם על המים המלוחים. המים המלוחים עולים ו”משתלטים” על המים המתוקים, חודרים לבארות, ואז אי אפשר לנצל אותן יותר.
המים החודרים לאקוויפר דרך הסלע ממיסים מלחים מסויימים הנמצאים בו. ככל שזמן המגע של המים עם הסלע ממושך יותר, גדלה כמות המלחים שהם ממיסים, וככל שעולה טמפרטורת המים הם יכולים להמיס יותר מלחים מהסלע וריכוז המלחים במים גדל, מכאן, שככל שמי התהום נמצאים בשכבת אקוויפר עמוקה יותר, הם מלוחים יותר.
מקור נוסף למליחות מי התהום הם מי השפכים המטוהרים המושבים להשקיית שדות, והמכילים כמות גדולה של מלחים. השקייה נרחבת של שדות באמצעות מים אלו גורמת לחדירת מלחים את האקוויפרים.
והתחזית לחורף הבאה גם היא אינה מעודדת ביותר:
אקוויפר ההר (טורון) – המפלס הצפוי בתחילת החורף הקרוב באזור הצפוני של האקוויפר הוא 8.50 + מטר,המפלס הנמוך ביותר בעת החדשה. הקו האדום הוא 9.00 + מטר.
אקוויפר החוף – המפלסים נמוכים, ישנה חדירה של מי ים לאקוויפר באזורים מסוימים ובניגוד לצורך הדחוף בשיקום המפלסים, השאיבה דווקא הוגברה, בלית ברירה.
לאור סקירת המצב העדכני של מקורות המים, מלווה חשש כבד את הצפוי למקורות המים בשנה הבאה, במידה ותהיה גם היא שנה שחונה. במקרה כזה, הצעדים שיידרשו לריסון הצריכה יהיו קיצוניים בהרבה מאלה הננקטים בשנה הנוכחית
נקיטת צעדים למניעת זיהום מי התהום:
הגברת האכיפה על מזהמים והחמרת האמצעים הננקטים נגד רשויות ומפעלים שאינם מטפלים בשפכיהם כראוי.
הקטנת מידת המליחות הנגרמת מהשקייה במי שפכים מטוהרים, על ידי הטפלת מי השפכים המטוהרים לפני השימוש בהם בחקלאות. כמו כן יש לתקן תקנות להסדרת השימוש במלח בתעשייה.
דרך נוספת להתמודד עם המליחות היא הקמת מערכת ניטור של האקוויפרים למעקב אחרי כמות ואיכות מי התהום בהם. לתקן נזקים ולשקם את הקרקע והאקוות. לצמצם את השאיבה במקומות מועדים להמלחה, ולהוביל מים ממקומות מרוחקים – וזאת לפחות בתקופת הקיץ. בעונת הגשמים מתחדש המאגר במים מתוקים הנימהלים במים המלוחים ואז ניתן להמשיך בשאיבה.
אפשר גם “לכוון” מעט את חסדי השמים ולהוביל חלק ממי הגשמים אל האקוויפרים. תהליך זה נקרא “מילוי מלאכותי” או “העשרת מי התהום” בשנים גשומות אפשר לאגור, בעיקר את מי השיטפונות במאגרים ולאפשר להם לחלחל אל מי התהום, ועל ידי מהילתם עם מי התהום ניתן לצמצם את המליחות ולשפר את המים.
איסוף מי הגשמים יכול להעשות בשתי דרכים:
הזרמת המים לתוך בארות קיימות.
הכוונת המים על פני שטחים חוליים המאפשרים חלחול המים ישירות אל האקוויפר.

What 35 Looks Like: We Compare Three Celebs

What does 35 look like?
A few wrinkles? A little sun damage?
Does it look like Kate Gosselin? Fergie? Eva Longoria? It may be hard to believe they’re the same age, but all three stars celebrate their 35th birthday this month.
We asked a personal trainer, an image expert, and a plastic surgeon to weigh in on what caused each of these three women to look older or younger for her age.
The Plastic Surgeon Says: “Kate has more wrinkles, and her skin is not quite as smooth as either Fergie’s or Eva’s,” says Dr. Anthony Youn, M.D., a facial plastic surgeon. “While I’m sure Kate is by no means poor, she probably doesn’t have the money or the time (due to having to care for so many kids on her own!) to undergo skin rejuvenating treatments like Fergie and Eva likely do,” says Dr. Youn.
And then there are the obvious physical effects pregnancy has on the body. “Kate’s weight has roller-coastered as a result of having so many children, causing her to have more stretched out skin than either Fergie or Eva,” Dr. Youn adds. While Gosselin was lucky enough to have a gratis tummy tuck, she still has areas where the skin is slightly less elastic than before she had children.
The Personal Trainer Says: “Kate began her new ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ regimen and is probably now in the best shape of her life,” says Sara Haley, celebrity personal trainer and Reebok Global Instructor. “Nevertheless, eight children and a messy marriage have had its toll on her body, hence the tired eyes, loose skin around the face and neck due to the loss of elasticity and too much tanning.”
The Image Expert Says: “Granted, for having eight kids, she looks great,” adds Charla Krupp, author of How Not to Look Old and How to Never Look Fat Again. “But stress affects every cell in your body, and taking care of kids leaves you with a lack of energy and less time to put toward your own appearance.”
And never underestimate the power of hair and makeup: “Kate’s hair is dated, and she wears too much shiny makeup,” observes Krupp. “Once you start to get lines and wrinkles, its best to avoid products with shine as they only draw attention to what you’re trying to hide, and it’s not age-appropriate.” Brows are also important: “Kate’s brows are weak and too thin — a natural sign of aging,” says Krupp. A fuller brow might have a more youthful effect on her entire face.
Aging Factors: Stress, children, lack of time, lack of money, shiny makeup, dated hair, thin brows
The Personal Trainer Says: “At age 35, the upper body muscle tone, particularly the triceps and back becomes harder to maintain, cellulite becomes more apparent on the lower half, and unfortunately even the face and neck begin to lose elasticity (giving the appearance of baggy skin),” says Haley. “But Eva Longoria looks like she hasn’t aged a day past 30.”
“Eva is a former aerobics instructor and has a degree in Kinesiology, so fitness has always been a part of her life,” says Haley. “Her anti-aging trick might be nothing other than eating healthy and living an active lifestyle.”
The Image Expert Says: “She’s very modern-looking,” adds Krupp. “She doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, which helps her looks younger. Her teeth are very white (probably veneers) which helps promote an overall youthful appearance. She has firm skin, which many stars achieve by using Botox to get rid of wrinkles, along with Restylane and Juvederm to fill in lines around the mouth. The Fraxel laser is also a great way to smooth out skin at the dermatologist… but you can also help your skin look younger with great skincare products, and a good primer,” Krupp says.
Aging Factors: None!
The Image Expert Says: “Fergie looks amazing! She has long hair — that really helps keep you looking younger as you age. Her brows are also very well-defined, which helps pick up her face. She wears light lipstick, which is youthful. And she has nice long lashes, but not a lot of other makeup,” Krupp notes.
But Krupp does have one small suggestion: “Fergie wears a middle part, and I think she’d look a little younger with a side part, and maybe some bangs. As women get older, it’s a good idea to not show a lot of forehead, because you’re getting lines and wrinkles there, so the side-swept bangs help hide that.”
The Plastic Surgeon Says: “I would bet the farm that both Fergie and Eva keep their skin youthful by undergoing transformative treatments at their doctors’ offices, says Dr. Youn. “Some of the more popular treatments among celebrities are Syneron’s Sublative Rejuvenation by eMatrix, in addition to high quality medical-grade skin care products.”
So, has Fergie had any nips and tucks? “A little Botox here and there may also be helping her look young,” Dr. Youn suspects.
The Personal Trainer Says: “Fergie’s body has fluctuated over the years depending on her work and personal life [Fergie is an admitted former Meth user],” says Haley. “She put on weight most recently for her role in the movie “Nine,” and then quickly had to take it off again to go back on tour with the Black Eyed Peas, which she accomplished. Plus, dancing on stage all night keeps her body in great shape.” Still, Haley believes Fergie is not the youngest-looking for the bunch, noting “Fergie’s years of drug use may have furthered along her aging process, leaving her looking closer to 40 than 30.”
Aging Factors: Middle part, past drug use

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The late Michael Jackson will appear in the 25th anniversary remake of ‘We Are The World,’ Access Hollywood has learned. Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones, who, along with Michael, masterminded the original version in 1985, told Access’ Shaun Robinson on Wednesday that the King of Pop’s original vocals and footage would be used in the song and video. Michael will appear posthumously in a split-screen with sister Janet Jackson joining him.

- السلطة القضائية مستقلة.كما ان السلطة التشريعية يقوم بدورها مجلس الشعب المصري يسانده مجلس الشورى . لكن الأول يعد وحده صاحب السلطة التشريعية.
